Proprietor and Student |
It was a moment of drama at the K.K.
International school's end of session party as one of the graduating students
came out to appreciate the proprietor for impacting on her life.
Expressing his gratitude after receiving
the gift from Miss. Jessica, the Proprietor of the
school, Mr. Okafor Christopher recounted that Jessica came to the school as an
infant.
“Yes! This girl, Jessica, came here wearing napkins. She started here in the pre-nursery class. You can see now, she is a big girl and she is passing out from JSS three to SS one. I feel happy, I feel fulfilled and I can see the works of my hands there. I am just grateful that a child could remember the proprietor and say 'thank you' with a gift. It is absolutely wonderful” He said, excitedly.
“Amongst these kids you will find kings and queens, maybe the first female president, and even female senate presidents, senators, Managers, lawyers and so on. I am releasing them to go and succeed” He stated heartily.
According to Mr. Okafor there is the need
for teachers to be role models; making the students remember their good deeds
and words of encouragement.
“Well, you heard them say that one of the things they have learnt from me here is that the sky is not their limit but the beginning of their quest for excellence” he said.
“Parent can bring their children here and go home to sleep, knowing fully well that they are in good hands and will do well. This is the place to be.” He recommended.
