Optimism is what several citizens of Nigeria show as they anticipate the progress and 'change' that Buhari is set to deliver in due time.
It is in foreseeing the bright future to come that Mr. John Ameh, a pioneer of "The state of the Nation", a non-governmental, non-profit making body, like a watch-dog, saddled with the responsibility of interceding for the intervention of God in Nigeria, tells Crystal Education Magazine that he is personally excited about the emergence of Mohammadu Buhari as president since he perceives Buhari to be a highly disciplined person and has great integrity.
He sees the new government as a progressive government that will sponsor development. He said Buhari will bring about the needed change in the country, stating that right from the election of principal officers in the National Assembly, unlike previous governments, Buhari did not interfere with the process, and was rather, determined to work with whoever was going to emerge, either as the Senate President or as Speaker of the House of Representatives. This is change from one angle, he said.
Mr. Ameh maintained that the President has always desired and is still in search of competent, credible and reliable Nigerians who can work with him to ensure that the much expected change by Nigerians is achieved at the end of his tenure in office.
"I believe that Buhari will be able to deliver on his campaign promises because by the time he is able to appoint and position good people in reasonable places, his government will bring about the much needed change."
