F-R: Mr. NdubuisiOgommuoOgbonna, NGO's Coordinator, Winners, and Mr. Ochei Chuks, Crystal News Editor

Tuesday, the 26th of May, 2015, was a remarkable day in Kubwa as the DYNAMIC CAREER SERVICES gathered pupils from different schools to compete against one another in debates and quiz competition. According to Mr. NdubuisiOgommuoOgbonna, the NGO's Coordinator, the competition was meant to inculcate excellence and high education standard in pupils of primary and secondary schools so as to breed a crop of well-educated leaders for the future.

The competition which had both government and private school participating, saw the winners going home with exotic prizes made available to thrill the audience and ginger the participants to perform excellently. The LEA (Local Education Authority) Primary School, Byazhin Across, Universal Setting Academy, Kubwa and Treasure School International, Kubwa, amongst others participated in the intellectual competition.

As the stage was set, it began with the debate and then the quiz competition. The pupils who had been thoroughly prepared by their teachers took the centre stage during the debate competition to reel out their well-founded points and propositions. The quiz questions were based on Mathematics, English Language, HIV/AIDS Issues and General Knowledge. The dexterity with which the pupils attempted and answered the Mathematics questions suggested that the participants have enjoyed excellent background in the subject. English Language and other subjects didn't prove a hard nut to crack as the pupils excelled greatly in them.

And like in all well-fought battles, winners and losers must emerge. Hogan Daniel from Universal Setting Academy emerged overall winner of the debate competition, while Jummai Usman from LEA Primary School, Ijayapi, and Blessing Samuel from LEA Primary School, Byazhin emerged first and second runners-up respectively, in the debate competition. And in the quiz competition, ChinazaNnalue from Treasure School International, Kubwa emerged overall winner, while Rex Alade from Universal Setting Academy, Kubwa and Hogan Daniel also from Universal Setting Academy, Kubwa emerged first and second runners-up.

There were individuals and representatives from other NGOs who graced the occasion and gave their remarks during the competition. Prizes were handed over to the winners at the top of the competition, while mouth-watering refreshment was served the participants and guests.

DYNAMIC CAREER SERVICES, is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that is keen about boosting the standard of education in Nigeria. It has organized and sponsored quiz and debate competitions for more than 5 years now.

Speaking with Crystal News on the success of the event, Mr. Ogbonna, the NGO's Coordinator, attributed the successes recorded thus far to the high level of focus, determination, diligence and passion that has driven the Organization since its inception. He said that putting together such awesome shows wouldn't have been possible without support from multinational companies such as the Indomie Company, Coca Cola and the like.
